The Sleek Hydrodynamic Design will cut through the water for less drag, especially on trolling motors.  It reduces collection of debris, keeps the transducer positioned correctly and will not interfere with the transducer signal.  NOTE:  When the transducer is attached to a Set Back, Hole Shot Plate or the side of a Jack Plate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water.  For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required.
